Moving Drums and Canisters Safely
Full 55-gallon drums and 180-liter canisters are top-heavy, and they can tip on an ordinary flat dolly. The Tank/Canister Dolly uses a dropped floor that sets the load lower for a lower center of gravity. Four 6-inch phenolic swivel casters roll smoothly, and grease zerks on the axles and swivels keep them that way. It is rated for 2,000 lbs and weighs 91 lbs assembled, so it can handle a full drum.
